Juiste Makelaar attaches great importance to your privacy. This privacy statement contains the necessary information to know how your personal data are handled and how they are stored.

What will happen with my data?

When an application is made, the applicant receives an email with a confirmation of the application. At the last question in the application you indicate that you agree with the privacy statement. After that, Juiste Makelaar processes the entered data and preferences. Based on these data, we select a maximum of four Proper Realtors that match the applicant’s information.

Should there be any doubts about the genuineness and/or authenticity of the application, there is the option of first contacting us by email or telephone to validate the application.

The moment the application is correct, the data are forwarded to four brokerage firms. These two agents will receive the details of your application by email. The applicant will also receive an email with the two agents. Based on the information entered by the applicant, the two agents will contact the applicant without obligation to inform the applicant about the possibilities and rates. An application results in data storage at five companies. At Juiste Makelaar and at the two brokerage firms that received the application.

The two brokerage firms that received the application must adhere to the following privacy points:

– The data may only be used to inform the applicant about the required services, further distribution is of personal data to third parties is not allowed.

– If the applicant wishes to withdraw their application, Juiste Makelaar shall submit a request for removal of your data to the four selected brokers under the General Data Protection Regulation, which obliges the offices to remove the data.

 

How long is data kept?

The completed data is kept by Juiste Makelaar for 36 months. After this set period the name, e-mail address and telephone number will be deleted. The data concerning the house and preferences are kept. This is for internal statistical analyses relating to the actual sales of the houses.

The data is kept for 36 months in order to determine if applications are being abused and should be excluded. In addition, Juiste Makelaar strives to ensure that the process is as optimal as possible.

Can I see my data, have it corrected and/or deleted?

Yes, if you submit an application and thus provide your personal data, you have the right to inspect, correct and delete. To request access to the registered data, have it corrected and/or completely remove your personal data, you can submit a request via [email protected]. Juiste Makelaar will then deal with and process your request as quickly as possible. If deletion is desired, we will submit a deletion request to the two previously selected brokers under the General Data Protection Regulation, which obliges the brokers to delete your data. With a deletion request, all personal data will be deleted with the exception of house data, which will be used for internal analyses. Thus, your identity and contact data will be deleted in accordance with the right to forget.

Can I still withdraw my application after submitting it?

Yes, the application is completely non-binding and can be withdrawn at any time for any reason. If this is the case, please send an e-mail to [email protected]. The request will then be cancelled. If the application has already been forwarded to the four selected brokers, then Juiste Makelaar also sends a request to these brokerage firms under the General Data Protection Regulation to remove the data and also not to process it.

Can I file a complaint about the processing of my data?

Yes, if the applicant feels that incorrect processing of data has taken place, you can file a complaint at [email protected]. Juiste Makelaar will, in consultation with the applicant, take the necessary steps to correct, stop or undo the processing. The choice of the applicant is leading in this.

Am I obligated to provide my personal data?

A request on the website juistemakelaar.com, with the provision of personal data, is completely voluntary. If someone does not wish to share their personal data, then they can refrain from making an application through the website.

Juiste Makelaar can only process applications where the address and contact details are correct, because the two selected brokers can only inform and reach the applicant with the correct details. The moment Juiste Makelaar notices that the application contains inaccuracies, they may choose not to process the application.

Will my data be processed manually or automatically?

The completed data is processed manually. Juiste Makelaar processes this data to search for the Juiste Makelaar for each application. In doing so, Juiste Makelaar selects two different brokers. The selection process to convert the request to a selection of two different brokers takes place based on the location, statistically demonstrable performance of the brokers and the given preferences. Once the selection process is complete, Juiste Makelaar manually forwards the data to the two selected brokerage firms.

Who comes into possession of my data after submitting an application?

The personal data provided to Juiste Makelaar is only processed by Juiste Makelaar and up to two brokerage firms. The four brokerage firms provide a service that the applicant is looking for. Personal data is not provided to third parties, such as other commercial entities, entities outside the European Union or international organizations.
